Winter Haven Pro Counseling was founded on a simple conviction: that meaningful change is possible when clinical excellence meets genuine human connection. Located on Texas Street, our practice serves individuals, couples, and families across Northwest Louisiana who are seeking a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to mental health care.
Our clinicians hold advanced certifications in trauma therapy, EMDR, and evidence-based modalities for anxiety and depression. We believe treatment should be collaborative — you are the expert on your own experience, and we bring the clinical tools to help you move forward.
A clear, structured path from your first call to lasting change.
Call us at (318) 238-8801 for a brief, no-obligation conversation. We'll discuss your concerns, answer questions, and help you determine if our practice is the right fit.
Your first session is a thorough intake where we learn your history, understand your goals, and begin forming a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
Using evidence-based methods such as EMDR, CBT, or EFT depending on your presentation, we work together week to week toward measurable progress.
As your symptoms improve and coping skills strengthen, we gradually reduce session frequency and prepare you to maintain progress independently.

My spouse and I were on the verge of separation. The couples counseling here gave us tools we actually use every day. We're stronger now than we were before our crisis — and that's because of the patience and skill of our therapist.
The environment here feels safe from the moment you walk in. No rush, no judgment. They met me where I was and helped me build a foundation I can stand on. This practice is a true asset to Natchitoches.

Your first session is an intake assessment. We'll discuss your history, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve through counseling. It's also your opportunity to ask questions and determine if you feel comfortable with your therapist. There is no pressure — this is a conversation, not an interrogation.
